Выход этого альбома сопровождался определенными сомнениями со стороны поклонников группы, да и просто сочувствующей музыкальной общественности. Еще бы! Ведь летом 2007 года THE GATHERING покинула сладкоголосая Аннеке Ван Гирсберген, чей вклад в популярность группы трудно переоценить. К ее замене, надо сказать, группа подошла очень серьезно, потратив почти два года на поиски. В итоге счастливицей стала Силье Вергеланд, предыдущей группой которой был норвежский металлический герлз-бэнд OCTAVIA SPERATI. Ну а в помощь ей отрядили Анне Ван Дер Хуген и Марселу Бовиа, которые спели по одной песне ("Capital of Nowhere" и "Pale Traces", соответственно) .
