Музыкальный коллектив Skepticism образовался в 1991 году. В следующем году вышла 7-дюймовка группы под названием Towards My End. Окончательный состав коллектива сформировался лишь к 1993 году, и с тех пор не изменялся.В 1993 году вышел второй релиз группы — Aeother Kaear в формате кассеты. После выхода этой кассеты Skepticism заключили контракт с лейблом Red Stream Records.В 1997 году выходят сразу два издания — мини-альбом Ethere и полноформатный альбом Lead and Aether.
