Подытоживая, можно сказать, что "Stronghold" - великолепный образчик эпической разновидности тяжёлой музыки. Как и всё творчество Summoning, этот альбом - один из примеров той музыки, в которую можно погружаться с каждым разом всё глубже, снимать её слой за слоем, и при этом будут открываться всё новые и новые её грани и особенности. Она сродни приоткрытой двери из повседневной жизни в новый неведомый мир. Более того, музыка такой глубины в определенной обстановке способна преображать окружающую действительность, наполняя её духом той - другой реальности, которая раз приняв тебя в свои объятья, не отпустит уже никогда.
