Пожалуй, именно этим альбом The Haunted завершили свой эволюционный переход от мощного дэт/трэша к не менее мощному стоунеру. На новой пластинке «Versus» практически не встретишь ни трэшовых поливов, ни дэтовых запилов, зато тут предостаточно мясистого и сочного стоунера: зубодробильные риффы, низкий строй гитар и надрывный вокал Пиетра Долвинга, наконец-то раскрывшийся по полной программе.
