Этот альбом обозначил новый этап в развитии группы. С "Siege Perilous" Kamelot явно шагнули на ступень (а то и две) выше. Немалая заслуга в этом принадлежит новому вокалисту Рою Хану (ex-Conception), чей великолепный вокал украсил довольно интересный материал. Его качество также изменилось в лучшую сторону. Эпический пауэр-прог должен заинтересовать любителей качественной мелодичной музыки.
