Замечу, что этот опус нельзя однозначно назвать симфо-блэком. Есть тут элементы и дэта, и даже фолька. Позже музыканты смягчат гитарный дисторшн, добавят электронных эффектов и т.д., но на данном альбоме слушателя ожидает еще очень жесткий материал.«We... the Enlightened» удивляет своей мощью. Основа звука – прежде всего плотная гитарная стена и частые бластбиты. «Мясные» риффы, однако, хоть и рубят будь здоров, но делают это с неким трагическим пафосом и неповторимой мелодикой.Клавишные и скрипка гармонично вплетаются в структуру и поддерживают легкую грусть. На атмосферу работает и вокал: сочный гроул, сменяемый иногда гримом, звучит с глубокой экспрессией и отнюдь не брутально. Лирика довольно сложна для восприятия и является, судя по всему, своего рода данью памяти античной Греции.
