Ренске сравнился и превзошёл Mikael Akerfeldt на этой пластинке в своём умении нечеловеческим рыком пробуждать чёрные стремления и в то же время меланхолическую отрешенность. Перерывы между ложащимися слоями грусти на сердце гитарными проигрышами заполнены атмосферными вставками, обогащающими звучание работы и позволяющими лучше осмыслить всю её глубину. Музыка не позволит тебе отвлечься: она завораживает, но и в плотную приблизиться к самой её структуре тоже не даст: ты подвешен в липкой и влажной сети, возникающей изнутри твоего сознания.
