Hughes/Thrall-явно недооцененный публикой проект, созданный в 1982 году в Америке двумя известными британскими музыкантами: басистом Тленном Хьюзом (Glenn Hughes, ex-FINDERKEEPERS, TRAPEZE, DEEP PURPLE) и гитаристом Пэтом Троллом (Pat Thrall,ex-AUTOMATIC MAN, PAT TRAVERS BAND). Оба музыканта давно собирались создать что-нибудь вместе и, наконец, наступило время, когда мечта воплотилась в жизнь.Результатом этой работы стал одноименный альбом, который спродюсировал Энди Джонс (AndyJohns, работал с FREE, LED ZEPPELIN,ROLLING STONES). По части музыки представляла из себя потрясающую смесь фанка ихард-рока. В июле 1982 года альбом вышел в Штатах, а 7 января 1983 - вБритании. Несмотря на очевидный спрос, фирма граммзаписи вскоре остановила егопроизводство.
