Немецкая трэш-металлическая группа «Ангельская пыль», названная так по композиции Venom, выпустила в конце 90-х годов два многообещающих альбома, но в 1990 г. распалась. Спустя 7 лет два бывших члена группы – басист Фрэнк Бэнкс и ударник Дирк Асмут – решили создать новый коллектив и для этой цели пригласили еще троих – вокалиста Дирка Туриша, гитариста Бернда Ауферманна и клавишника Стивена Бэнкса. Выпущенный этим составом альбом «Граница реальности» стал первым из целой серии сильных работ в жанре пауэр-металл с прогрессивным уклоном, выражаемым прежде всего клавишными, из-за чего музыка иногда напоминает Stratovarius, но не с таким сильным вокалом, как у Тимо Котипельто. В работе слышны отголоски металла 80-х годов – Accept, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, – однако плагиатом здесь и не пахнет. Старая добрая преемственность!
