В 1998 году группа распалась. Дэн сформировал новый дум-коллектив под названием Doomsday Government, Эрикссон присоединился к группе Semlah в 2001 году. Летом 2003 трио решило возобновить свою деятельность, но в 2006 году группа вновь распалась. Спустя некоторое Count Raven возрождаются во второй раз в составе: Фонделиас - вокал, гитара; Фредрик Янссон (ex-Abramis Brama) - бас-гитара и Йенс Бок - ударные. Вскоре был записан пятый полноформатный альбом, получивший название "Mammons War" и вышедший 31 августа 2009 года посредством лейбла I Hate.
