Cryptic Slaughter резко сменили музыкальную ориентацию и на диске 'Speak Your Peace' не осталось ни малейших следов хардкора, но зато команда одной из первых просекла малознакомую широким массам фишку, и ударилась в то, что сейчас бы назвали гранджем, но с сильным влиянием научно-фантастических металлистов Voivod образца 1988 года. Новых слушателей группа практически не обсела, и следы ее затерялись где-то в урбанистических дебрях Америки. Лишь недавно появилась информация о жизнедеятельности отдельных членов Scott Peterson вместе с Tony Lombardo (экс-Descendents) мутит совместный панк-проект Launch Pad, что касается Rob Nicholson то он играет в составе Rob Zombie под кличкой Blasco
