К 1987 году состав Wild Dogs сменился, в группу пришли новые участники вокалист Майкл Ферлонг и бас-гитарис Рик Бартель. Обновлённым составом ребята заключают новый контракт с фирмой Enigma Records и записывают свой третий полноформатный альбом "Reign of Terror", в этом же году альбом был издан в Японии фирмой Alfa Records. Запись сделана под руководством продюсера Стива Фонтана на калифорнийской студии Praire Sun в городе Котати, округ Сонома.
