Группа Kharon была основана в 1989 году гитаристом Rygor, будущем участником Ragnarok, и басистом Kull. В начале 90-х к ним присоединились барабанщик General Hymer, известный как Thyme, в будущем один из вокалистов Ragnarok и гитарист/вокалист Rym Vicious, также известный своим участием в Ragnarok. До 1994 года группа вела концертную деятельность и выпустила сингл "Coma of Hallucination". В 1994 группа распалась, её члены разбрелись по различным группам и проектам.
