С умением делать песни у KRISIUN очень долго наблюдались проблемы: группа с первых дней поражала своей мощью и скоростью, радовала поведением и твёрдостью убеждений, но лишь на “AssassiNation” – седьмом (!) полноформатном альбоме – наконец-то научилась сочинять хитовые композиции. Фанатов это так поразило, что многие просто возненавидели альбом. В дальнейшем градус хитовости несколько снизился, но KRISIUN никогда больше не играли сплошной бластбит на протяжении 10 вещей. У “Scourge of the Enthroned” очень правильный, олдскульный подход к созданию композиций. Они цепляют именно своей структурой, а не кричалками и шитыми белыми нитками мелодичными фрагментами. Если говорить о Death Metal с чисто музыкальной точки зрения, то “Scourge of the Enthroned” страшно близок к совершенству.
