Симмонс считал, что из группы еще может выйти толк. Да только он сделал две ошибки: пригласил целую тучу известных гитаристов, которые и заняли большую часть звуковой дорожки альбома. А заодно задвинул клавишные Джиоффрии на задний план.Если утяжеление звучания пошло в целом на пользу, то напичканный шред-запилами альбом "Sahara" слушается несколько чуждо по отношению к первому и ко всем последующим альбомам. Слишком американизированный мелодичный металл и так мало помпезности.Бархатные клавишные так и вовсе вспоминаются как мираж.Тем не менее, тут есть, что послушать.
