“Confrontation” - the second longplay from State Urge - is a concept album about difficulties of making important life decisions. It’s a story of a man, who is in conflict with himself, trying to solve inner dilemmas, which leads to an open confrontation with his surroundings, as well as with his personality. Will he find balance between expectations and reality or will he give into temptation of running away from responsibility? After all, from every battle, even those lost, one can rise even stronger.

"Protein for Everyone” caustically details the nagging neuroses bubbling under the surface of everyday life and imagines a brave new world where you can sell parts of your anatomy to be processed into cheap tasty meat for easy cash. Occasionally melancholic and blackly humorous lyrics are wrapped in a musical blanket of odd time signatures; fizzing with lively energetic progressive arrangements that have a pop sensibility, luring you in with three part harmonies and earworm melodies before wigging out on an inappropriate glockenspiel and fuzz bass solo in 10/8.

Box set release from Arabesque includes their 9 original albums, a compilation album "Radio Arabesque," and a DVD "Greatest Hits" with bonus video footage. Vladimir Ashkenazy has been a lifelong champion of the music of his compatriot Scriabin. For the composer’s anniversary year he has recorded a selection of works which span the entire output of Scriabin’s works for solo piano: an extraordinary musical journey from late-romanticism to the mystic modernism of his last works. A prelude by Scriabin’s youngest son Yulian – a promising composer and pianist who died tragically young aged eleven – completes this new recording.

The disc contains new and unreleased tracks, but also Doro cover versions of her favorite artists, such as Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner, Metallica, Kiss and Dio.
