Adams produced the album and co-wrote the album with Gretchen Peters, Nicholas Bracegirdle, Phil Thornalley, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Eliot Kennedy and Jörgen Elofsson. Similar to Adams previous material, the themes in Room Service are mainly based on romance, love and relationships.
