Old Wave is the ninth studio album by the Beatles' former drummer, Ringo Starr. The album was released in 1983, on the label Bellaphon Records, and is the two-year follow-up to his 1981 album Stop and Smell the Roses.

Bad Boy is the seventh studio album by Ringo Starr, released in 1978 during a period where his musical career was sliding into freefall after several years of solo success. Although Bad Boy was meant to reverse this trend, Starr's fortunes dwindled further.

The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Initially gaining recognition in Canada, the group also found international success from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s with numerous hit singles, including "No Time", "American Woman", "These Eyes" and "Share the Land". Several former members of The Guess Who, notably Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman (of Bachman–Turner Overdrive), have found considerable success outside the band.

Vulgar Display of Power is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Pantera, released on February 25, 1992 through Atco Records. One of the most influential metal albums of the 1990s, Vulgar Display of Power has been described as "one of the defining albums of the groove-metal genre". Several songs from this release have become some of the band's best known, such as "Mouth for War", "This Love", and "Walk".

This was the final Alan Parsons Project studio album. During the writing of what would have been the followup, Eric Woolfson turned the album into the rock opera eventually released as Freudiana in 1990. Alan Parsons continued as a solo artist in 1993 with Try Anything Once, an album which completes the musical evolution that started with this album.

George Benson - is a ten-time Grammy Award-winning American musician, guitarist and singer-songwriter. He began his professional career at twenty-one, as a jazz guitarist. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique similar to that of gypsy jazz players such as Django Reinhardt.

Motor Sister is the new band with Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian. This is a great rock n roll album. The rest of the band consists of Joey Vera on bass from Armored Saint and Fates Warning, John Tempesta on drums from White Zombie, lead singer/guitar Jim Wilson from Mother Superior, as well as Ian’s wife and daughter of the one and only Meatloaf Pearl Aday. Ian has always been one of the best riff masters around. Combined with Wilson’s guitar playing and great blues filled voice they put out a really good hard rocking album.

This live CD is a fresh, energetic and unique approach to jazz standards and songs from other genres, recorded with legendary musicians from the US.
