Such is the case with the vivacious Puppini Sisters who, since 2004, have ridden a wave of the burlesque revival and enthralled audiences with their harmony. 2016 sees them release their latest offering of 40s/50s-inspired material. The Sisters’ voices effortlessly dance over the lyrics leaving you ironically speechless at times.

1 октября 2007 года вышел второй студийный альбом трио The Puppini Sisters. В альбом вошли 5 оригинальных песен, написанных самой группой, а так же кавера на "Walk Like an Egyptian" и"Crazy in Love". Название альбома в честь любимой помады девушек фирмы Ruby Woo by MAC Cosmetics.

11 марта 2016 года вышел новый альбом группы Van Canto, который был создан при тесном сотрудничестве с писателем Christoph'ом Hardebusch'ом. Впервые группа работала с хором London Metro Voices, записывавшим саундтрек к фильму «Властелин Колец». По словам участников группы, они хотели создать альбом, полный живого человеческого участия, даже если для этого нужно было использовать либо одного ударника, либо один голос.

18 марта 2016 года вышел семнадцатый студийный альбом Iggy Pop, продюсером которого стал лидер группы Queens of the Stone Age Джош Хомм. Работа над альбомом велась в условиях секретности и помимо Хомме к записи был также привлечены еще участник Queens of the Stone Age Дин Фертита и барабанщик Arctic Monkeys Мэтт Хелдерс.

It’s Pink Floyd’s magisterial 1975 album Wish You Were Here – but as you’ve never heard it before. This re-imagined take on the progressive rock classic is a collaborative venture: the London Orion Orchestra form the backbone with contributions from Alice Cooper, Rick Wakeman and tribute band Australian Pink Floyd. Wish You Were Here Symphonic translates the sounds and melodies of the original album into a classical music setting – and the results are electrifying. It’s a fine choice of subject matter to transpose in this way, since the source material is symphonic in its structure and scope.

Diana Panton's voice is special amongst the many female vocalists in the world today. Her vulnerable, gentle voice has peacefully coaxed me to fall in love with her singing. After having received 3 nominations previously for the Juno Award (Canada’s equivalent to the Grammy) in the category Vocal Jazz Album of the year Diana Panton won the 2015 Juno award for Vocal Jazz Album for the album "Red". "I Believe in Little Things" is a carefully curated album that highlights Diana Panton's enchanting vocals on obscure gems and classic children's masterpieces from Disney, Sesame Street, Willa Wonka and the Chocolate Factory etc. Her sweet pure expression is a hand-in-glove fit for this timeless material. There is a penetrating power to Panton's storytelling of the songs. This, coupled with exemplary recording quality, Don Thompson's delightful jazz arrangements and masterful accompaniment by Thompson, Reg Schwager and Coenraad Bloemendal give new scope to this repertoire.

Американская группа Paths Of Possession была организована в 1994 году и изначально называлась Swollen. Спустя череду переименований группа снова вернулась к названию Swollen, а затем опять переименовалась, но уже в последний раз и закрепила за собой название Paths Of Possession. Staying true to form, this talented collection of musicians knows the formula that works for them and continues to perfect their craft. Combining Power Metal with straight-up Heavy Metal, MYSTIC PROPHECY’s sound authentically resurrects the dark and mystical songwriting style of old school bands like JUDAS PRIEST and DIO, while mixing in the edgy but polished electricity prevalent in most European Power Metal headliners. Liapakis’ vocals really standout on “War Brigade”, delivering effortless power with just the right amount of melodic textures, the sound that has become the trademark of this band, while the guitar wizardry of Ragazas and Pohl take this record over the top.

Thornbridge plays old school power metal following long prevailing peers, from native Germany and elsewhere across Europe. Think Helloween, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Running Wild among others. Their metal is classic heavy metal combined with speed metal, with nominal symphonic notes. Quick guitar and bass lines are powered by thundering and galloping drums. For the guitar side, Thornbridge leans heavily on twin guitar harmony, then has one guitarist rip of some fine and fiery solos. Riffs and solos are in abundance here. Vocals also lend to the harmony, often melodic and choral like effect, a common standard of traditional power metal. Yet vocalist Joerg "Mo" Naneder has a bit of raw raspy presentation in his voice.
