Um keine Routine aufkommen zu lassen, entschieden sich Piet Blank, Jaspa Jones und Andy Kaufhold, erstmalig seit dem Debut Album Relax Edition 1 im Jahr 2003, nicht nur das Songwriting, sondern auch den kompletten Aufnahmeprozess in den Sommer zu verlegen.
Dafür reisten sie Anfang Juni auf die Balearen nach Mallorca und richteten sich in einer abgelegenen Finca mit ihrem Equipment ein. Neben einem wunderschönen Video und einer Fotosession entstand so diesmal auch ein Großteil der Songs direkt dort, wo die Musik von Relax ihren Ursprung hat. Und so klingt das Album auch: Sonnendurchflutet, entspannt und positiv - eben 100% Relax!

The soundtrack to the 2015 jazz biopic Born to Be Blue features music that strongly evinces, but never quite lives up to, the sound of the film's main protagonist, the late trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker. Starring Ethan Hawke as Baker and directed by Robert Budreau, Born to Be Blue is a semi-fictitious retelling of Baker's life set during his career comeback in the 1960s.

Pianist, composer, and educator Tuomo Uusitalo—born in Finland and, since 2012, a resident fixture of the New York City jazz scene - offers up something special in Love Song, his second album as leader. Steven Wilson will release the previously vinyl-only album Transience worldwide this fall via Kscope. He will also return to the road for a month of dates this November. Transience was initially released in September 2015 on limited edition vinyl, only in The UK, to coincide with Wilson's two sold-out Royal Albert Hall shows. Now, Transience will see a proper worldwide release on CD with an additional song.
