Этот альбом знаменитых итальянцев породил очень много жарких споров и неоднозначных оценок. Одни поставили крест на группе, другие считают, что это логическое продолжение творчества и необходимые инновации, без которых музыку Lacuna Coil обязательно назвали бы топтанием на месте. Я отношусь ко второму типу людей, посему и столь высокая оценка релизу. Да, теперь это больше альтернатива, чем готик-метал, но чему удивляться, ведь подобный курс группа взяла ещё на альбоме "Karmacode" 2006 года. Пусть музыка и потеряла некую глубину и мысль, зато приобрела более весёлую и жизнеутверждающую атмосферу в большинстве песен. Ну и очень весомый вклад вносит то, что более половины песен на альбоме - безусловные хиты.

Приз за самобытность! Lacuna Coil настолько отличатеся по музыке из всех подобных групп при тех же самых атрибутах, что вожможно их ждет большое будущее. Итак. высококачественный гот с думовыми элементами. Достоинства - высокоэмоциональный женский вокал (торжество студийной работы, или как из безголосой дуры сделать образец для подражания - как иллюстрация самый первый миньон этой группы), припопсованные мотивчики, которые просто прилипают к ушам, очень хороший текст. Недостатки - ужасно грязный саунд, и отсутствие изыска в музыке - воистину еще юность не ушла из голов участников группы.
В принципе музыка Лакуны берет скорее чувствами. Короче, творчество для меланхоликов - чтобы уберечь их от суицыда на некоторое время.

Torul are back with a brand new album entitled „Reset", a short and straightforward title, welcoming a big event: „Torul" were joined by a new frontman "Maj Valerij", a talented and charismatic vocalist who fits in right away. The album opens with "Saviour of Love“ – the first single with an outstanding video – and consists of 11 new songs of which quite a few have the kind of a groove that makes you want to move. All the lush beats and bass are still there! „Torul" never seem to be afraid to really open the vocals, but not only in the studio, at their gigs as well — the rule: if it's powerful on record, it must be powerful live! „Reset" seems to be a further exploration of music for „Torul“ — there are many influences of many genres Torulsson shamelessly involves and explores — therefore the album is also a bit playful while keeping the distinct melancholic vibe and an ID of „Torul", in spite of a different singer. A joyous ride from the beginning to the end, where „Torul" say a tender goodbye and sail away to further skies.
