Native was mostly recorded at lead singer/songwriter/keyboardist and GRAMMY® winner Ryan Tedder's Patriot Studios in Denver. Produced by Tedder and fellow band mate Brent Kutzle, OneRepublic also collaborated with leading-edge producers like Philippe Zdar (the French composer known for his work with artists like Phoenix, The Beastie Boys, Cat Power, and Depeche Mode), Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Jay Z, the Rolling Stones, fun.) and Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Rihanna, Gym Class Heroes) infusing their high-powered rock-pop hybrid with elements of electronic music, gospel, blues, and folk.

Native is the third full-length album by Onerepublic. Lead singer Ryan Tedder, one of the most sought after songwriters today, has penned and produced hit singles for the likes of Leona Lewis, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez and Natasha Bedingfield.

Sugar Tax is the eighth album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released in 1991 on Virgin Records. It was group's first studio album since 1986, and the first of three recorded without co-founder Paul Humphreys, who had departed in 1989. Essentially a solo venture for singer Andy McCluskey under the OMD moniker, it leans more towards the dance-pop genre that was prevalent in the early 1990s, than the experimental brand of synthpop which characterised the band's earlier recordings.
