Heaven is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson. The album was released on December 5, 2011 under the recordings of Syco Music and RCA Records. Recording sessions include: London, Los Angeles and Sweden. Eg White, who has worked with Adele and Duffy, serves as a major collaborator. Additional producers and songwriters include Steve Booker, Fraser T Smith, Xenomania, Paul Barry and Mark Taylor. Ferguson later revealed that she would be co-writing the whole of her album in order for her to "connect" with the songs.

From September to December 1999, the band rented the house Weimar in Heiligendamm on the Baltic Sea for pre-production. The sound recordings took place in May and June 2000 at Studio Miraval in southern France. Already over Christmas 2000, Rammstein released the song Links 2 3 4 on their website for download. In January 2001 the video was released, in February the single Sonne.

The Bends is the second studio album by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, released on 13 March 1995 by Parlophone Records internationally and by Capitol Records in the United States. The album title comes from a Jerky Boys prank call skit in which the prank caller says to his victim: "Pablo, honey? Please come to Florida!" Kid A is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 2 October 2000 by Parlophone Records and Capitol Records. The band's songwriter Thom Yorke envisioned a radical change in direction for the album after feeling burnt out from promoting the band's acclaimed 1997 album OK Computer. Incorporating influences from genres such as krautrock, jazz, 20th-century classical music and the electronic music of Warp artists, Radiohead replaced their guitars with synthesisers, drum machines, the ondes Martenot, string orchestras and brass instruments. They recorded Kid A with producer Nigel Godrich in Paris, Copenhagen, Gloucestershire and their hometown Oxford, England.

Funky Dory is the solo debut album by English pop–dance singer Rachel Stevens. It was released by Polydor Records on 29 September 2003 in the United Kingdom. The album was produced by various record producers including Bloodshy & Avant and Richard X.
It received a positive reception from music critics, some of whom complimented its surprising diversity, charm and relative depth, while others thought of it to be poorly written, produced and forgettable. Despite critical commentary, it became Stevens' most successful album release, and reached number nine in the United Kingdom, where it was certified gold. On 16 July 2004 the album was re-issued in the United Kingdom, including three new songs, and reached number thirteen on the albums chart. Funky Dory was released in Canada on 16 March 2004; however, it failed to generate much interest outside of the United Kingdom.

Out of Time is the seventh studio album by American alternative rock band R.E.M., released on March 12, 1991 by Warner Bros. Records. With Out of Time, R.E.M.'s status grew from that of a cult band to a massive international act. The record topped the album sales charts in both the U.S. and the United Kingdom, spending 109 weeks on American album charts and enjoying two separate spells at the summit, and spending 183 weeks on the British charts and a single week at the top. The album has sold over four and a half million copies in the U.S. and over 18 million copies worldwide. Accelerate is the 14th studio album by American alternative rock band R.E.M., released on March 31, 2008 in Europe, and on April 1 in North America. Produced with Jacknife Lee, Accelerate was intended as a departure from the 2004 album Around the Sun.[2] R.E.M. previewed several of the album's tracks during a five-night residency at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, and recorded the album in a nine-week schedule.
The album was heralded as a return to form for the band, receiving a warm reception from music critics and achieving a 79/100 rating on Metacritic. Reviewers often complimented the aggressive, purposeful sound of the songs, with Q magazine critic Keith Cameron stating that "Accelerate is the sound of a band having enjoyed a good word with themselves—and us."

The Works is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 27 February 1984 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and it is the band's first studio album to be released by Capitol Records in the United States. After the synth-heavy Hot Space (1982), the album saw the re-emergence of Brian May and Roger Taylor's rock sound, while still incorporating the early 80s retro futuristic electronic music (Freddie Mercury) and New York funk scenes (John Deacon). Recorded at the Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles, California and Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany from August 1983 to January 1984, the album's title comes from a comment Taylor made as recording began – "Let's give them the works!" During the decade, after a negative reaction against and ban of the music video for "I Want to Break Free" in the United States, the band decided not to tour in North America and lost the top spot in U.S. sales, but sales around the world (especially Europe) would be even better. The Works has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.

The Miracle is the thirteenth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 22 May 1989 by Capitol Records in the US, it is the band's first studio album to be released by Parlophone Records in the UK. The album was recorded as the band recovered from Brian May's marital problems and Freddie Mercury's AIDS diagnosis in 1987 (which was known to the band, though not publicised at the time). Recording started in January 1988 and lasted for an entire year. The album was originally going to be called The Invisible Men, but three weeks before the release, according to Roger Taylor, they decided to change the name to The Miracle. It was also the last Queen album with a band photo on the front cover.

Queen II is the second studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 8 March 1974 by EMI Records at midnight in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. It was recorded at Trident Studios and Langham 1 Studios, London from February to August 1973 with co-producers Roy Thomas Baker and Robin Cable, and engineered by Mike Stone.
