J.E. Heartbreak is the second album by the American R&B group Jagged Edge. It was released by So So Def and Columbia on September 28, 1999, in the United States. The title of the album is a reference to R&B group New Edition's 1989 hit "N.E. Heart Break".[3] Upon its release, the album peaked at number eight on the US Billboard 200 and atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It was also certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and reached silver status in United Kingdom.

This Is the Remix is a remix album by American R&B group Destiny's Child. Released in the United States on March 12, 2002 by Columbia Records, the album compiles previously released R&B and dance remixes of songs originally featured on the band's first three studio albums: Destiny's Child (1998), The Writing's on the Wall (1999) and Survivor (2001). The album also includes one new track: "Heard a Word", a solo track performed by member Michelle Williams. The album's title is a reference to a lyric in the first track "No, No, No Part 2".
Upon release, This Is the Remix received generally mixed critical reception. It peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 and at number 8 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. In the United Kingdom, the album peaked at number 25 and was certified gold.

The Writing's on the Wall is widely considered Destiny's Child's breakthrough album. It debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 133,000 units, and later peaked at number five. The album went on to be certified octuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of eight million units in the US. Four singles were produced—"Bills, Bills, Bills", "Bug a Boo", "Say My Name" and "Jumpin', Jumpin'".
