Честно сказать, я не понял, в чем была суть данной операции. Энглер и его товарищи питают любовь к своим ранним творениям - конечно же, почему нет. Энглер хотел бы иногда переиздавать этот материал - хорошо, никто же не против. Энглер желает слегка подправить оригинальный мастеринг - ну, это, хозяин - барин. Но решение оба варианта запаковать в один релиз было, на мой взгляд, ошибочным. Название “Alternative Volle Kraft Voraus” первому диску из комплекта ни черта не подходит, потому что он практически идентичен второму. Различие в таких нюансах, что вслушиваться нужно чрезвычайно внимательно для их нахождения, т.е. разница наповал не валит и в глаза не бросается. Хотя нет, первый диск звучит более глубоко, но, тем не менее, все так же out-of-date, как и второй. “Volle Kraft Voraus!” считается важной вехой в развитии немецкого ebm/industrial, в авангарде которого Die Krupps стояли (правда, тогда еще не существовало понятия ebm), но теперь их подвиг вызывает разве что улыбку, но никак не восторг и почитание. На мой взгляд, вышедший годом ранее альбом “Geography” выглядит гораздо более зрелым. Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter is the fourth studio album by American rapper Jay-Z. It was released on December 28, 1999, by Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. According to USA Today critic Steve Jones, the record marked a return to the street-oriented sound of Jay-Z's 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt.[1] Vol. 3... featured production from Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, K-Rob, DJ Clue, Rockwilder, DJ Premier, and Irv Gotti, among others.

J.E. Heartbreak is the second album by the American R&B group Jagged Edge. It was released by So So Def and Columbia on September 28, 1999, in the United States. The title of the album is a reference to R&B group New Edition's 1989 hit "N.E. Heart Break".[3] Upon its release, the album peaked at number eight on the US Billboard 200 and atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It was also certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and reached silver status in United Kingdom.

This Is the Remix is a remix album by American R&B group Destiny's Child. Released in the United States on March 12, 2002 by Columbia Records, the album compiles previously released R&B and dance remixes of songs originally featured on the band's first three studio albums: Destiny's Child (1998), The Writing's on the Wall (1999) and Survivor (2001). The album also includes one new track: "Heard a Word", a solo track performed by member Michelle Williams. The album's title is a reference to a lyric in the first track "No, No, No Part 2".
Upon release, This Is the Remix received generally mixed critical reception. It peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 and at number 8 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. In the United Kingdom, the album peaked at number 25 and was certified gold.

The Writing's on the Wall is widely considered Destiny's Child's breakthrough album. It debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 133,000 units, and later peaked at number five. The album went on to be certified octuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of eight million units in the US. Four singles were produced—"Bills, Bills, Bills", "Bug a Boo", "Say My Name" and "Jumpin', Jumpin'". "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Say My Name" became Destiny's Child's first two US Billboard Hot 100 number-ones, with the latter winning the group their first two Grammy Awards. With worldwide sales of 13 million copies, The Writing's on the Wall is one of the best-selling girl group albums and best-selling R&B albums of all time.

Obscured by Clouds is among Pink Floyd's shorter albums and makes heavy use of the acoustic guitar. Lyrically, the songs centre around love, a theme the album has in common with the film. The album's only single was "Free Four". Obscured by Clouds has been seen as a stopgap for the band, who had started work on their next album, The Dark Side of the Moon (1973). The album reached number six in the United Kingdom and number 46 in the United States; retrospective opinions from both fans and critics have been mixed, some critics noting the similarities to their later material.

As with several previous albums, the cover was designed by Hipgnosis, and has been explained by its creator Storm Thorgerson – who was unhappy with the final result – to be an ear underwater. The album was well received by critics upon its release, and was commercially successful in the United Kingdom, but lacklustre publicity on the part of the band's American label Capitol Records led to poor sales in the US upon initial release.

Sinners Never Sleep is the third studio album by English rock band You Me at Six. It was released on 3 October 2011 through Virgin Records. While touring in support of their second studio album Hold Me Down (2010), the band wrote slow-tempo material and heavy-sounding songs. Between March and May 2011, they recorded with producer Garth Richardson at Sunset Sound and The Sound Factory in Los Angeles, California. Partway through the process, vocalist Josh Franceschi suffered a panic attack, which resulted in him being hospitalized and the band losing time in the studio. Described as an alternative rock and pop rock album, Sinners Never Sleep was a departure from the pop punk sound of their previous releases.

The Yes Album is the third studio album by English progressive rock band Yes, released on 19 February 1971 by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Steve Howe, who replaced Peter Banks in 1970, as well as their last to feature keyboardist Tony Kaye until 1983's 90125.
The album was the first by the band not to feature any cover versions of songs. The band spent mid-1970 writing and rehearsing new material at a farmhouse at Romansleigh, Devon, and the new songs were recorded at Advision Studios in London in the autumn. While the album retained close harmony singing, Kaye's Hammond organ, and Chris Squire's melodic bass, as heard on earlier releases, the new material also covered further styles including jazz piano, funk, and acoustic music. All of the band members contributed ideas, and tracks were extended in length to allow music to develop. Howe contributed a variety of guitar styles, including a Portuguese guitar, and recorded the solo acoustic guitar piece "Clap", live at the Lyceum Theatre, London.

Pocket Universe is the ninth studio album by the Swiss band Yello, released on February 24, 1997 through Mercury label.

Essential Yello est la deuxième compilation du groupe de musique électronique suisse Yello, six ans après 1980-1985 The New Mix in One Go. À la différence de ce dernier, Essential Yello ne contient pas de remix, seulement quelques titres édités pour l'occasion. Il est sorti en 1993, parallèlement à une VHS portant le même nom et contenant les clips de ces différents titres. L'album est ressorti en novembre 1995 avec deux titres supplémentaire, dont leur version de Jingle Bells, enregistré à l'occasion de leur participation à la bande-son du film Super Noël. Ce best-of est alors re-sorti sous le titre Essential Christmas.
