Vital Idol is a remix album by the English rock singer Billy Idol, released on 31 May 1985 by Chrysalis Records. It contains remixed songs from his first two albums and the Don't Stop EP. The album was reissued in the United States with one extra track in September 1987, peaking at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The US release was supported by a non-album live single version of "Mony Mony".

The Roadside is an EP by the English singer Billy Idol, his first release on George Harrison's Dark Horse Records. It is Idol's second EP long after Don't Stop in 1981, and his first release of new material since his 2014 album Kings & Queens of the Underground. It was produced by Butch Walker and released on September 17, 2021. The EP's songs all feature Idol's longtime collaborator, guitarist Steve Stevens.

The Cage is the third extended play by Billy Idol, slated to be released on 23 September 2022 by Dark Horse Records.

Idol shared, "I'm particularly proud of this EP we've got coming out [...] It just came together as so much fun to do ... and I think it's reflected in the recording, the way it sounds and everything." He mentioned in a previous statement, "This EP is a lot more coming at you. Loads more guitar. And that's a lot of fun. We were pretty fired up by the fact that we hadn't played for a couple of years, and suddenly we were bursting on stage, and it kind of woke us up to what the next EP could be: that it could be a little more sturm und drang, a little more coming at you, a little more rock 'n' roll, a little more fuck you!"
