Reload is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on November 18, 1997 by Elektra Records. The album is a follow-up to Load, released the previous year, and Metallica's last studio album to feature bassist Jason Newsted. Reload debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 436,000 copies in its first week. It was certified 3× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping three million copies in the United States.

Death Magnetic is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on September 12, 2008 through Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Rick Rubin, marking the band's first album since ...And Justice for All (1988) not to be produced by longtime collaborator Bob Rock. It is also the first Metallica album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, and the second to be completely co-written by all of the band's members.
Musically, Death Magnetic is a radical departure from Metallica's previous album, St. Anger (2003), and is considered a return to the band's thrash metal roots, with more complex compositions, standard guitar tuning on most songs and long guitar solos from Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield. It also includes the band's first instrumental ("Suicide & Redemption") since "To Live Is to Die" from ...And Justice for All.

These Are Special Times is the first English-language holiday album by Canadian singer Celine Dion. Released by Sony Music Entertainment on October 30, 1998, it features cover versions of popular Christmas tunes and original material. Dion worked with David Foster and Ric Wake, who produced most of the tracks for the album. Other producers include R. Kelly and Bryan Adams. Critics praised Dion's commitment to the recorded material, as well as the production of the songs.

Kill 'Em All is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band Metallica, released on July 25, 1983, by the independent record label Megaforce Records. Kill 'Em All is regarded as a groundbreaking album for thrash metal because of its precise musicianship, which fuses new wave of British heavy metal riffs with hardcore punk tempos. The album's musical approach and lyrics were markedly different from rock's mainstream of the early 1980s and inspired a number of bands who followed in similar manner. The album did not enter the Billboard 200 until 1986, when it peaked at number 155, following Metallica's commercial success with its third studio album Master of Puppets; the 1988 Elektra reissue peaked at number 120. Kill 'Em All was critically praised at the time of its release and in retrospect, and was placed on a few publications' best album lists. It was certified 3× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 1999 for shipping three million copies in the United States. The album generated two singles, "Whiplash" and "Jump in the Fire".

Watermark is the second studio album from the Irish musician Enya, released in September 1988 on WEA Records. Following her first album, Enya (1987), produced for the BBC documentary The Celts, Enya signed with WEA, giving her complete artistic freedom on a follow up with no interference from the label. Watermark displays Enya's distinct sound of layered vocals, keyboard sounds, and elements of Celtic music. The album is seen by some as a seminal example of new-age music, though Enya does not consider her music to be of the genre.

Cafe Del Mar is a beachfront bar located in Ibiza, Spain. It is known for its chillout music compilations that are played throughout the bar and have become a popular genre of music. The bar opened in 1980 and quickly became a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. The owners of the bar, Ramón Guiral and José Les, began releasing compilation albums of the music played at the bar, which helped spread the popularity of the chillout genre. The Cafe Del Mar albums have since become an iconic representation of Ibiza and the chillout music scene. The bar continues to be a popular destination for those visiting the island and has even expanded to other locations around the world.

"Private Dancer" is a song made famous in 1984 by American singer Tina Turner. First recorded by British rock band Dire Straits, it was written by the group's lead vocalist Mark Knopfler and produced by John Carter for Turner's fifth solo album of the same name. Released as the album's fifth single, the track reached number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number three on the US R&B chart. The song had moderate international success, reaching number 26 on the UK Singles Chart.

Zebra is the eighth studio album by the electronica Swiss band Yello. The record was released on 17 October 1994 through 4th & B'way and Mercury labels.

Rosenrot is the fifth release from the popular Industrial German sextet. The album was originally slated as 'Reise-reise Vol. 2' as it contained songs that didn't make it onto the 2004 release as well as a few new songs. However, while Reise-reise experimented with different sounds, this album brings back a more traditional sound similar to that found on 2001's Mutter. Over their career, Rammstein has progressed from a riff-laden industrial sound to almost theatrical compositions of heavy guitars, oddly placed samples and Till's hollow but agressive deep vocals. This album is no exception, having progressed even further down that path. The end result is an album that I would rate second to Mutter and place high above its mediocre predecessor.

The first recording sessions for Bleed Like Me took place in March 2003, but were mostly unproductive due to passive aggression between the band members, and a general lack of direction. As Garbage struggled to create the album, the band quietly split for four months starting October 2003. They reunited under producer John King in Los Angeles, and following a guest appearance by Dave Grohl on "Bad Boyfriend", the band found a renewed focus on production. Garbage recruited drummer Matt Walker and bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen for new recording sessions, and completed the album by the end of 2004.
