Tijs Michiel Verwest, better known by his stage name Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and musician. He was born on January 17, 1969, in Breda, Netherlands.
Tiësto began his career in 1994, playing at several clubs in the Netherlands. He released his first album, "In My Memory," in 2001, which included his hit single "Lethal Industry." In 2004, he released his second album, "Just Be," which featured the hit singles "Adagio for Strings" and "Love Comes Again."
Over the years, Tiësto has become one of the most popular DJs and electronic dance music (EDM) producers in the world. He has been named the "Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag and has won several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording in 2015.
Some of Tiësto's other popular songs include "Traffic," "Maximal Crazy," "Red Lights," and "Wasted." He has also collaborated with many other artists, including Diplo, Martin Garrix, and Post Malone.
Aside from his music career, Tiësto is also known for his philanthropic efforts. He founded the charity organization, the Tiësto Foundation, in 2010, which supports organizations that work to provide clean water and sanitation facilities to people in need.
Tiësto continues to tour and perform around the world, and his music has influenced countless other artists in the electronic dance music genre.

Splinter is the seventh studio album by American punk rock band the Offspring, released on December 9, 2003, by Columbia Records. It was the first album the band released without long-time drummer Ron Welty, who left before the recording sessions.
Although not as successful as the Offspring's previous albums, Splinter received gold certification two months after its release. The album received average reviews, but still sold reasonably well, debuting at number 30 on the US Billboard 200 with around 87,000 copies sold in its first week. "Hit That" and "(Can't Get My) Head Around You" were the only two singles to accompany the album; "Spare Me the Details" was also released as a single, but charted only in New Zealand.

9 is the 5th French album and 7th studio album in total to be released by the singer Lara Fabian.
The album is considered by many as a shift in Lara's music style, and vocal performance, primarily because it was Lara's first album that long time producer, Rick Allison, did not produce. The Album was produced by Jean-Félix Lalanne. He also, with Fabian, composed many of the songs in the album.

Mama's Gun is the second studio album by American singer Erykah Badu. It was recorded between 1999 and 2000 at Electric Lady Studios in New York and released on November 21, 2000, by Motown Records. A neo soul album, Mama's Gun incorporates elements of funk, soul, and jazz styles. It has confessional lyrics by Badu, which cover themes of insecurity, personal relationships, and social issues. The album has been viewed by critics as a female companion to neo soul artist D'Angelo's second album Voodoo (2000), which features a similar musical style and direction. Critics have also noted that while Badu's first album Baduizm contained its share of cryptic lyricism, Mama's Gun is much more direct in its approach, and places the artist in a subjective position more than its predecessor.

There Is a Party is the second studio album released by the Swiss singer-songwriter DJ BoBo. It was released on 21 October 1994 through the Fresh Music, Metrovynil as well as EAMS Lesser record labels on compact disc, 12-inch gramophone record and music cassette formats. The album, which belongs to the musical genre of electronic music was later re-released in 1995 via BMG Records and enjoyed massive commercial success worldwide.

Saxuality is the debut album by Candy Dulfer. Dulfer was no stranger to music since she is the daughter of Hans Dulfer, a famous Dutch saxophone player. Death Magnetic is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on September 12, 2008 through Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Rick Rubin, marking the band's first album since ...And Justice for All (1988) not to be produced by longtime collaborator Bob Rock. It is also the first Metallica album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, and the second to be completely co-written by all of the band's members.
Musically, Death Magnetic is a radical departure from Metallica's previous album, St. Anger (2003), and is considered a return to the band's thrash metal roots, with more complex compositions, standard guitar tuning on most songs and long guitar solos from Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield. Watermark is the second studio album from the Irish musician Enya, released in September 1988 on WEA Records. Following her first album, Enya (1987), produced for the BBC documentary The Celts, Enya signed with WEA, giving her complete artistic freedom on a follow up with no interference from the label. Watermark displays Enya's distinct sound of layered vocals, keyboard sounds, and elements of Celtic music. The album is seen by some as a seminal example of new-age music, though Enya does not consider her music to be of the genre.
