К сожалению, с первого же раза повторить успех своего грандиозного дебютника "Bonded By Blood" калифорнийцам Exodus не удалось. Да и трудно бы было создать столь же великолепную работу в условиях серьезных проблем со звукозаписывающей компанией, да еще и глядя на вечно пьянствующего Пола Баллофа. Именно из-за этих трудностей второй альбом Exodus "Pleasures Of The Flesh" появился на свет только в 1987 году, причем уже на новом лейбле, и, что намного важнее, с новым вокалистом. Фронтменом живых легенд американского трэша на долгие годы стал Стив "Зетро" Соуза, весьма колоритная личность во всех смыслах этого слова.

Альбом-компиляция с песнями из мини-альбомов и редкими вещами группы, которую многие называют самой быстрой в мире. ANGELCORPSE - это, безусловно, большое имя в мире экстремальной музыки, и очень жаль, что команда уже распалась. Но у нас с вами есть редкая возможность ознакомиться с наследием этого коллектива. Про этот альбом хочется писать только хорошее – свежий, драйвовый, непосредственный – не скажешь, что эта команда выпустила свой дебютник еще в далеком 1989 году. По сравнению с тем полупрофессиональным релизом сделан солидный шаг вперед – на заре грайнда коллектив звучал как очередная шумная поделка, теперь же Extreme Noise Terror играют Музыку, которую не лишним будет послушать даже тем, кто грайндкор особенно не любит. Ничего особенно нового в материале нет, но в тоже время нельзя сказать, что кто-то сильно эксплуатировал этот стиль до самих Extreme Noise Terror. Вспоминается разве только Terrorizer, со своим веселым трэш-грайндом ставший иконой стиля в конце 80-х.

Снова та самая пьянящая и леденящая душу музыка, те самые божественные виолончели... Однако ребята опять решили не останавливаться на достигнутом. После альбома "Cult" казалось, что всё - это предел. Ан нет... Всадиники Апокалипсиса на сей раз махнули ещё выше и в сторону - теперь саунд слегка смягчился, балансируя на грани между металлом и поп-роком, но, хвала небесам, не спускаясь в сторону последнего. Музыка стала поразнообразнее, обогатилась ударными и клавишными и чем-то стала напоминать саунд-трек. Поразительно, но ребятам удалось, не упав в откровенную попсу, создать альбом, который будут слушать люди различных музыкальных предпочтений и находить в нём каждый что-то для себя - в этом я не сомневаюсь.

One Voice is the fourth full-length studio album from New York hardcore band, Agnostic Front. It was released in 1992 on Relativity Records. It marks a three year absence from recording – the last album was Live at CBGB in 1989 – after Roger Miret's term of imprisonment. However, the comeback was short-lived as after Last Warning (another live album), the band split up and did not record again until 1998.

Nightlife is the seventh studio album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 8 October 1999 by Parlophone. After the release and promotion of their previous album, Bilingual (1996), Pet Shop Boys started work with playwright Jonathan Harvey on the stage musical that eventually became Closer to Heaven (at one stage during the writing process, the musical was given the name of Nightlife). Pet Shop Boys soon had an album's worth of tracks and decided to release the album Nightlife as a concept album and in order to showcase some of the songs that would eventually make it into the musical.

Venus Doom is the sixth studio album by Finnish gothic rock band HIM. The album was recorded at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki with producers Hiili Hiilesmaa and Tim Palmer, both whom had collaborated with the band on various occasions, and released on 14 September 2007. During the making of Venus Doom, HIM was struggling with the personal problems of their vocalist Ville Valo. Among other things, his alcohol abuse had worsened to the point that he suffered a nervous breakdown during the recording process, after which he was admitted to the Promises Rehabilitation Clinic in Malibu by HIM's manager Seppo Vesterinen. Musically the album has been described as HIM's heaviest and darkest album to date, with influences from bands such as My Dying Bride, Anathema and Paradise Lost. Much of the album's lyrical themes and heaviness were inspired by Valo's personal difficulties, including his break-up with fiancé Jonna Nygrén.

Dark Light is the fifth studio album by Finnish gothic rock band HIM. Released on 26 September 2005, HIM began recording the album in March 2005 at the Paramour Estate is Los Angeles with producer Tim Palmer, who had also mixed the band's previous album Love Metal. Dark Light also served as HIM's first worldwide release with Sire Records, with whom the band had signed with in September 2004. In Finland, however, the album was released under the band's own label Heartagram. Musically, Dark Light featured a more "polished" and "accessible" sound than previous albums, and was written as a cross between Black Sabbath and U2, also influenced by the work of composer Angelo Badalamenti.

And Love Said No: The Greatest Hits 1997–2004 is a greatest hits album by Finnish rock band HIM. It contains two new songs: "And Love Said No" and "Solitary Man", the latter of which is a Neil Diamond cover, both songs produced by Tim Palmer. The British version also has a re-recorded version of "It's All Tears (Drown in This Love)". The digipak version of this album comes with a DVD with six songs live at Semifinal Club in Helsinki.

You've Come a Long Way, Baby is the second studio album by English electronic music producer Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook). It was first released on 19 October 1998 in the United Kingdom by Skint Records and a day later in the United States by Astralwerks. You've Come a Long Way, Baby proved to be Cook's global breakthrough album, peaking at number one on the UK Albums Chart and number 34 on the US Billboard 200.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, staying atop for eight consecutive weeks. A significant commercial success compared to the release of The Slim Shady LP just the previous year, the album sold 1.78 million copies in its first week, which made it among the fastest-selling studio albums in the United States. The album produced the singles "The Real Slim Shady", "The Way I Am", and "Stan". Among other publications, Rolling Stone named it the best album of the year 2000.

Red Carpet Massacre is the twelfth studio album by the English pop rock band Duran Duran, released on 13 November 2007 by Epic Records. Most of the music on the final incarnation of the album was completed in late 2006 following the departure of band member Andy Taylor with new guitarist Dominic Brown replacing him, when record producer Timbaland began working with the band. However, Brown is not considered an official member, so Duran Duran is featured as a quartet. "Falling Down" was the only single released from the album.
