Life of Agony’s 1993 album River Runs Red is one of the most unique albums not only of 1993 or the 1990s in general, but also in the band’s repertoire itself. Also, it’s one of my favorite albums EVER. River Runs Red stands alone in the way it sounds. There’s never been an album like it before its release and there’s never been an album since. Unplugged at the Lowlands Festival '97 is a live album released by Life of Agony in 2000 through Roadrunner Records. The first 8 tracks were recorded live at the Lowlands Festival in Holland on August 23, 1997. Soul Searching Sun is the third album released by Life of Agony in 1997 through Roadrunner Records. The album was co-produced and co-mixed by Life of Agony and Phil Nicolo of the Butcher Brothers at Studio 4 Recording in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This was the band's first recording with new drummer Dan Richardson and featured what was another stylistic change for the band, incorporating psychadelic elements into their sound and featured their first true ballad in "My Mind Is Dangerous".
