Hits out of Hell is a 1984 compilation album by Meat Loaf. It includes seven Jim Steinman songs and its original release featured the hit, "Modern Girl" off of Bad Attitude, which came out at about the same time. Meat Loaf never liked that he never had any say in these compilations and numerous others soon followed in Hits out of Hell's footsteps.

Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell is a 1993 studio album by Meat Loaf and was written and produced by Jim Steinman. It was released sixteen years after Meat Loaf's first solo album Bat Out of Hell. The album reached number 1 in the US, UK and Australia. Three tracks were released as singles, including "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", which reached number 1 in 28 countries.

Bat Out of Hell is the second album and major-label debut by American rock musician Meat Loaf, as well as being his first collaboration with composer Jim Steinman, released in October 1977 on Cleveland International/Epic Records.
