Magic Bus is a stunning collection of the music that sound-tracked the journeys taken along the ‘hippie trail’ by thousands in the late 60s, early 70s. Rolling on from London to Amsterdam, then to Istanbul and finally to Kathmandu in Nepal, the epic voyage and indeed the mode of transport itself has entered the cultural vernacular. A garishly painted bus still evokes for us all the open road and the setting sun. ‘Magic Bus’ speaks of the impact upon the world’s young people of the nascent counterculture; bringing freedom, hedonism and spirituality. ‘Magic Bus’ opens a window that allows the aromatic atmosphere of a cherished era to filter back to us. These are intoxicating memories, and this music encompasses the collective positivity of the times that underlined a generational shift; but most importantly this is about far more than just basking in nostalgia, this is some of the greatest music ever recorded. This music, and this journey, was truly an immersive experience for those who hit the ‘hippie trail’. Sunlight refracted through a cracked windscreen and roiling clouds of fragrant smoke brought sudden moments of transcendental clarity and focus. The hum of the engine accompanied the largely unjustifiable belief that the road being followed would lead to where the occupants of the 'Magic Bus’ truly wanted to be. But it didn’t matter; the journey is, after all, the destination and this is a trip about far more than sightseeing. As Timothy Leary put it so succinctly, “Turn on, tune in, drop out”. Man…

The Purobeach Series celebrates 10 years with htis 2 CD collection compiles and mixed by Ben Sowton and Sebas Ramis. So for 10 years Seamless have been producing the Purobeach compilations with their resident DJs, Fabian Wetzel, Niko Bellotto, Boris Cantero and now Seba Ramis compiling the second CD with Seamless's Ben Sowton at the helm for the first disc.

Now in its 9th year Purobeach goes from strength to strength opening up 2 new locations this year, Dubai and Toscana in Italy. With 8 locations worldwide the Purobeach brand is going from strength to strength. One of the reasons is the huge exposure the brand has had through its CD releases with Purobeach and Puro Desert Lounge. This release will be co-ordinated across all the locations by the newly appointed head of events and PR with 5 local PR agencies working on the release covering most major markets in Europe.

Purobeach now in its seventh year has been going from strength to strength. With 3 beach clubs in Europe and the hotel in Palma and now with a new €3m private wing, Puro can certainly claim to be one of the smartest beach clubs on the scene.

Now in its sixth year Purobeach continues to deliver the finest lounge and chilled music in double CD format. Musically continued with the dual format, chill and lounge on CD1 and deep house on CD2, perfectly mirroring the vibe at the hotels and beach clubs.
