It all started 20 years ago when the electro swing pioneer began his metamorphosis from producer to bandleader by founding his live band. Marcus Füreder grew up in Linz and developed a passion for music and art at an early age. He began his career as a DJ in local clubs, performing under the pseudonym Plasma or his real name, drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, house and electronic music. These influences would later shape his distinctive musical style.

The album contains ten new songs recorded in 2020-2022, some of which were previously released as singles ("Lit de Parade", "Jane", "Go On"). Most of the material was performed by the band's new vocalist John Becker. The song "Mama Tell Me Why" was performed by Mikael Erlandsson, the band's previous vocalist, and the song "Little Zhora" was performed by Tim Norell himself. The theme of most of the songs, according to the band's official website, is "human relationships and love". The compositions "Café For Amur" and "In Memoriam (To Bjorn)" are instrumental.
