"AB III", что заметно уже со второй песни (а также первого сингла) "Isolation", предлагает нам весьма тяжелый, металлический материал, напичканный грубыми, в пониженном строе, риффами и быстрыми соляками. Но встречаются также и более спокойные песни, вроде "All Hope Is Gone", или прекрасной "Wonderful Life". Как видите, принцип построения альбома весьма стандартен и не несет никаких сюрпризов. Тяжелые вещи сменяются вещами полегче, и так далее.

После очень успешного дебютника «One Day Remains» коллектив выпустил следующий альбом «Blackbird», и он просто не мог оказаться плохим. По сравнению с предыдущим альбомом на этом звук стал заметнее жёстче, риффы тяжёлыми, это всё сказалась на увеличении удовольствия, получаемого от прослушивания диска. Несомненно, стоит отметить мастерство музыкантов, отличный вокал Майлса Кеннеди, качественную запись.

Admittedly, this spot was between this new album, and Blossoms’ Foolish Loving Spaces. But the newest album from Gengahr, Sanctuary, eventually won me over thanks to their fusion of indie, rock and electronic, as oppose to Blossoms, who I have always perceived as one of the most fundamentally indie bands out there, which quite frankly bores me.
