De-Phazz is a downtempo jazz ensemble integrating modern turntablism and elements of soul, Latin, trip hop and drum and bass into a lounge music sound. De-Phazz is led by Pit Baumgartner, a German producer who has varied the lineup of artists for every new album. Some regular members are Barbara Lahr, Karl Frierson and Pat Appleton.

Kamal is a multi-instrumentalist whose newest release is built around synthesizers, with bass, guitar and percussion, also performed by the artist. The music is on the quieter end of the spectrum, but the percussion definitely adds some spark.

This CD is a very soothing mix of meditative music. I play it in my house through my sound system. I find my kids tend to be in a more cooperative mood. I stongly see the connection to music and behavior.

Grand Canyon is een studioalbum van Isao Tomita and The Plasma Symphony Orchestra (zijn arsenaal aan apparatuur). De duur van de langspeelplaat is dusdanig kort dat heden ten dage het meer een Extended Play genoemd zou worden. Na echt bekende composities te hebben bewerkt naar elektronische muziek, kwam in 1982 een album met een compositie die voornamelijk in de Verenigde Staten bekend is; de Grand Canyon Suite van Ferde Grofé uit 1931. Binnen de klassieke muziek in Europa is het werk grotendeels onopgemerkt gebleven. Tomita volgde Grofé in de delen. Het album is anno 2010 niet meer in de handel.

The Tale Of Genji, Symphonic Fantasy is reworked version of the 1990s original by Isao Tomita’s , released in 2011 by Denon. It’s based on a classic work of Japanese literature written by the Japanese noblewoman and lady-in-waiting Murasaki Shikibu in the early years of the 11th century.
