33 years after their debut album, Bronski Beat return, as founding member Steve Bronski teams up with singer Stephen Granville for an expanded reworking of The Age Of Consent. Dubbed The Age Of Reason, as well as “inventive and inspired” reworkings of most of the songs from the original record, the new album features three new tracks: a cover of Sylvester’s Stars, and new songs I’ll Be Gone and A Flower For Dandara. The latter is a tribute to the recently murdered Brazilian transexual Dandara dos Santos.

The enigmatic Slow Magic is self-described as "music made by your imaginary friend." The first tracks to leak from this new album (the follow-up to his beguiling debut Triangle) were greeted with dozens of blog posts and thousand of hearts from Hype Machine users. The Australian electro dance group, Miami Horror, returns for their fourth release, The Shapes. The Shapes is a consistent conceptual release, that focuses on the amalgamation between music and visual art. The sound is percussive and colourful, the visuals playful and bold, while visually, The Shapes is a collection of art that aims to break the mould and put some color back into daily life. Usually known for their diverse sound and eclectic mix of influences, The Shapes gives Miami Horror the freedom to focus on one specific musical direction, existing as a stand alone, conceptual release.

Six years after this saga began, Iteration finally wraps up Haley’s sprawling narrative, doing so with the most refined music of his career. The album illustrates the last moments Com Truise spends on the perilous planet Wave 1, before he and his love escape its clutches to live in peace. It’s also the most personal record Haley has written to date, as the story mirrors his personal struggles of moving across the country and overcoming creative burnout. But Iteration is ultimately a story of triumph and self-realization, told by the singular, emotionally resonant sound of a man and his machines.

The Korvids are a loose collective of Scottish musicians centred around Simple Minds producer Gordon Goudie and vocalist James Grant, who was formerly frontman of 80s pop-soul outfit Love & Money. They made their debut with the single Beach Coma on Nang Records in 2015, followed by Bad Faith last year, and now they unleash their debut long player.
