Ну, ничего с собой не могу поделать, настолько я люблю этот проект, что каждая продолжающая его шествие работа для меня сравнима с праздником ненормативного веселья. "Jraah Mraah" – это умопомрачительная клоунада на уже давно знакомом всем обитателям планеты Земля языке прикольных инопланетных существ, которые живут в формате Марса. Данное действо напомнило мне фрагменты обезбашенного мультика для детей с девиантным развитием, в который планомерно замешаны синтезаторные мелодии, механические звуковые коллажи, граненые сэмплы, акустические фрески и веселящие рассудок вокальные глюки. Все это так весело и гармонично, что даже очень трогательные фрагменты этого сумасшедшего альбома вызывают милую улыбку и уводят в состояние ненавязчивой эйфории.

It was an attempt to showcase their recent remixes and possibly recreate some of the critical success of the earlier remix collection Disco, however Disco 2 is one of the Pet Shop Boys' most poorly received albums by critics and fans. The tracks on the CD were mixed into one long continuous megamix by DJ Danny Rampling. As a result, most of the tracks are in edited versions, having been cut off mid-way through in a crossfade into the following tracks (as a DJ might do while mixing music live). Some of the tracks were reduced by more than half of their original lengths in this way. In addition, some tracks were sped up or slowed down, in order to match the overall tempo of the mix.

Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands are a five piece band from Dublin, Ireland. Their critically acclaimed album 'You Look Cold' was released on Osaka Recordings in 2009. A remix album followed in 2010 called 'You Look Colder'. It featured remixes from the likes of Jape, Hunter-Gatherer and Legion of Two.
Their second album 'Golden Syrup' is released on 12th September. Moving on from the previous more DIY / lo-fi sound we now find them embracing a more gothic synth sound. Reminiscent of lesser known early 80's electronics pioneers such as Robert Rental, Thomas Leer and John Foxx but also drawing comparisons to such contemporary artists as Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti and John Maus.

The Best of OMD is a compilation album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1988.

Recording of the album began in 1998, following the release of his fourth album, Animal Rights (1996), which deviated from Moby's electronica style; his goal for Play was to return to this style of music. Originally intended to be his final record, the recording of the album took place at Moby's home studio in Manhattan, New York.

Однако практика показывает, что любое музыкальное произведение можно аранжировать в совершенно любом стиле, и исполнение синт-попа на пианино и барабанах – далеко не самый неудачный эксперимент. Безусловно, хорошо знакомые хиты De/Vision слушаются с таким аккомпанементом очень странно, однако, в музыке немецкого дуэта всегда присутствовала значительная доза меланхолии, и здесь она лишь доведена до абсолюта. В результате получилась работа, благодаря минималистическим аранжировкам и атмосфере возвышенной печали несколько напоминающая позднюю Anathema, весьма любопытная, но и несколько утомляющая. Видимо, это почувствовала и сама группа, добавив к записи своего акустического выступления на выставке PopСomm три ранее неизданных ремикса, которые демонстрируют более привычный нам облик De/Vision.

Kraftwerk - немецкий музыкальный коллектив из Дюссельдорфа, внёсший заметный вклад в развитие электронной музыки. Trouble in Paradise is the second studio album by English singer Elly Jackson, known professionally as La Roux. It was released on 18 July 2014 by Polydor Records. La Roux originally consisted of Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, who collaborated during the earlier stages of production. However, Jackson was left to complete the record in early 2014 after Langmaid departed from the group in early 2012. Consequently, she partnered with producer Ian Sherwin during the later stages of production. Their efforts resulted in a primarily new wave record, which Jackson described as being "warmer" and "sexier" than her debut studio album, La Roux (2009).

Supervision is the third studio album by English singer Elly Jackson, known professionally as La Roux. It was released on 7 February 2020 through Jackson's own independent label Supercolour Records. It is her first album recorded entirely as a solo act, following 2014's Trouble in Paradise, on which former member Ben Langmaid still contributed to a number of songs. Musically, Supervision continued the style of the preceding album, exploring the music of the 1980s and referencing funk and disco.

When Richard Norris and Soft Cell’s Dave Ball, better known as The Grid, rediscovered a tranche of unused soundscapes from sessions with Robert Fripp during the early 1990s, when the guitarist’s ethereal ’scaping graced The Grid’s 456 and Evolver albums, they were galvanised into action.
The result is a rather beautiful sequence of pieces in which rich synth tones unfurl and stretch in tandem with Fripp’s languid note building. The already widescreen, cinematic creations really go up a gear when heard in a brand new 5.1 surround mix by David Singleton, Fripp’s co-producer and creative partner at DGM. In this medium, the low drones transform in window-rattling subsonics while diaphanous, spacey strings reach out to entangle and embrace.

De\Vision - это одна из немногих групп в стиле synth-pop, творчество которой мне очень симпатично, не скрою. Впервые с музыкой этого немецкого дуэта я познакомился где-то в 2002 году и это был именно альбом "Two", а точнее в радиоэфире ротировалась песня "State of Mind". Признаюсь, я был впечатлен. Много позже я более основательно приобщился к этому стилю музыки и к этой группе в частности. Сразу скажу, что критически относиться к столь качественной и красивой электронной музыке я не могу - всё сделано на уровне с немецкой педантичностью и пунктуальностью. Однако, начиная примерно с альбома "Void", саунд группы претерпел значительные изменения, пошедшие, тем не менее, на пользу музыкантам: чувствуется их творческий рост, музыка стала "взрослее", вполне вероятно, что смена саунд-продюсера в этом "виновна".
