Australian singer, producer and DJ Alison Wonderland got a taste of strobe-lit stardom behind the decks of Sydney's warehouse circuit, and a party-all-night ethos pulses throughout Run. Wonderland’s debut full-length is filled with chattering beats, frothy buildups and bass-heavy swagger. But it’s the edgy, 11th-hour energy that makes Run so exhilarating; shortly after she lures us in with breathy melodies on tunes like “I Want U”, “Naked" and “Take It to Reality”, she blindsides us with a gritty blast of double-time clatter. When Run brings down the tempo with “U Don’t Know”, it's an ominous midtempo highlight that features a guest vocal from Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.

Mr Twin Sister, formerly Twin Sister, is an American band from Long Island. This is the second full length album by the five members of Twin Sister, now known as Mr Twin Sister. Following their debut LP, composed largely in a studio, the band returned to the creative process they had employed on their first two EPs- working individually or in small, shifting groups. Ideas germinated in an environment where experimentation was encouraged. Some bloomed immediately, others matured slowly over the years, the rest demolished and rebuilt dozens of times in an effort to discover their ideal form. Progress was slow, coming in fits and bursts, accommodating the unexpected twists and turns of life.

"Policy of Truth" is a song by the English rock band Depeche Mode. It was released in May 1990 as the third single from their seventh studio album Violator (1990). Although the song was less successful than the first two singles before, it is the only Depeche Mode single to chart higher on the Billboard Hot 100 (#15) than on the UK Singles Chart (#16), as well as peaking at number two on the American dance charts.

Junk Culture is the fifth album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1984. The three most successful singles from the album were "Locomotion", which reached no. 5 in the UK, "Talking Loud and Clear" (no. 11), and "Tesla Girls" (no. 21).
With this album, OMD regained their commercial grounding following the poor reception and sales to their previous effort Dazzle Ships. It had a much slicker sound in contrast to Dazzle Ships's experimental nature, largely attributed to the band's acquisition of the Fairlight CMI digital sampling/sequencing workstation. The title track is an instrumental with heavy dub overtones and tape collages, "All Wrapped Up" is a calypso pop song, and "Talking Loud and Clear" features a soprano saxophone melody. The cover artwork was designed by Peter Saville.
