In October 1996 the band launched its big Christmas offensive : a X-mas single (the ballad Universal Love), for the Belgian market only, and a debut double album was also released. The Tyfoon album, including the hits I’m On Fire, Lift U up, Play This Song and many more, went gold in Belgium. The new single Freak Out, was also doing very good.

The seventh edition of Needwant's Future Disco series will be released on February 24th. This latest compilation, titled Til The Lights Come Up, focuses on "the magic and mystery of the early hours." Overseen by Needwant founder Sean Brosnan, the tracklist leans more towards house than disco, with remixes from DJ Koze, Axel Boman and Bristol duo Outboxx featuring alongside original tracks from Terrence Parker and Benoit & Sergio. There are a couple of collaborative tracks, too: Sonny Fodera's "You're The One," which features Cajmere, opens the compilation, while Tale Of Us and Clockwork's "Lost Keys" rounds it out.

The sound isn’t new, but this Danish trio does it just as well as fellow-Scandinavians Datarock. But WhoMadeWho are more sonically adventurous, and bring a playful attitude to their music that plays refreshing. On their second full-length album they’re in easy command of the form. WhoMadeWho have a distinctive voice—it’s just that it’s a combination of quite familiar components. There’s the Rapture’s dance-punk, LCD Soundsystem’s deadpan hipsterism, and any mainstream dance pop act’s silk-smooth vocals.

Late 2008 Electro Spectre went back in the studio to record new fresh material for the upcoming album 'Watch It All Turn', as they were dissapointed the initially album recorded in 2007 didn't make it to a release. During the years Electro Spectre has received many questions why the album was never released, as it was a really strong album. As of this Crab Key Records have desided to release the 2008 album 'Pop Ghost' in it's full as it was recorded then. This is the very first dark alternative steps Electro Spectre took right at the beginning!!
