Two years ago, Future Pop/ Alternative band Cyferdyne debuted from the UK with their album: “Genesys.” The work demonstrated the group’s mastery of mixing vocals and synth into entrancing and original melodies. Today, the group has displayed this and more in their new album “Keep Your Silence.” Holding true to their claim of combining elements from various electronic genres to make “something that is greater than its component parts,” there is a distinct change in style between the two albums and even between this albums own songs.

In November 2014 Gregorian will embark on a European Tour with their Winter Chants concerts. This new production will be in a more intimate setting.

By the time this album was recorded (1993) Ultravox was reduced to Billie Currie and friends. However Sam Blue does an excellent Midge Ure impression, when required, and Vinnie Burns is great with the over-the-top guitar solo. The only songs of the well known Ultravox period which don't work as well as I'd like are Reap The Wild Wind (which I've always thought needs two vocalists) and Hymn.

Mix master Claude Challe has done it once again. He has created a very special mix disc in celebration of the release of the most recent chapter in the Emmanuelle Saga on film (In October 2004). Inspired by the film's star, Nastaja Vermeer, Challe has once again created a masterpiece that captures the eroticism and sensuality displayed on the silver screen. Vermeer herself recorded two of the tracks, as she is also a singer and composer. Other highlights in the mix include Louie Vega's reconstruction of the Chakacha's 'Jungle Fever' and Delerium's 'Forgotten Worlds'. The disc comes in deluxe packaging with a 16 page photo spread of Vermeer au natural. Also included is an enhanced section featuring candid shots of Vermeer while on a photo shoot.
