Не смотря на определенный скептицизм части металлического сообщества, «Black Wings of Destiny» продолжает радовать слушателей качественным материалом. В группе произошла лишь одна замена, вместо ушедшего ДиДжорджио, за бас теперь отвечает двоюродный брат Эрика Петерсона Деррик Рамирез. Он известен тем, что был участником первого состава Testament. Главное направление удара этих американских любителей скандинавского варианта black metal не изменилось. Мы слышим прекрасно записанный и аранжированный высококачественный симфо-блэк с элементами трэша. Звук альбома, как мне кажется, стал более объемным и мощным против дебютника.

“Metal Heart” – последний шедевр легендарной группы. Один из тех, которые невозможно разлюбить. Классика! Альбом сильно отличается от предыдущих студийных работ, но это одно из его достоинств. Главное, что, на мой взгляд, отличает его на их фоне – небольшой налет коммерции. Но это как раз тот случай, когда этот налет пошел только на пользу. Музыка стала более продуманой и доступной. Некоторые вещи отличаются намеренной простотой, благодяря чему многие (но, слава Богу, далеко не все!) посчитали их посредственными.

Serious Black ist eine im Januar 2014 gegründete internationale Power-Metal-Band. Ihre Mitglieder sind daneben oder waren vorher bereits in anderen Bands erfolgreich. Der Bandname ist abgeleitet vom Namen des Magiers Sirius Black aus der Buchreihe Harry Potter. Um keine Markenrechte zu verletzen, wurde die Schreibweise abgeändert.

The Score – An Epic Journey is a soundtrack album by the Dutch symphonic metal formation Epica, released in 2005. It is the film soundtrack to Joyride, a Dutch production.
Most of the songs of the album are instrumental, except for four songs. The three songs that do feature the singing voice of Simone Simons ("Trois Vierges", "Solitary Ground", "Quietus") are different versions of songs from the album Consign to Oblivion, which was released earlier the same year.
The album was originally supposed to be released on 8 September. After two delays, this date changed to 20 September 2005. The first samples of The Score were given to Jimmy Lim by Mark Jansen in Madrid.

The Phantom Agony is the first full-length studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released in 2003 by the Dutch label Transmission Records. It is the first album recorded by guitarist Mark Jansen after his departure from the band After Forever. On this album, Jansen continues with the collection of songs that make up The Embrace That Smothers. The first three parts can be found on Prison of Desire (2000), After Forever's debut album, and the following three parts can be found on The Divine Conspiracy (2007), Epica's third album. These songs deal with the dangers of organized religion.
The album was re-released on 23 March 2013, which coincided with Epica’s 10th anniversary Retrospect show, as a 2-disc expanded edition by Epica’s former record label Transmission Records.

There is an enormous tension between different religions and cultures, wars, natural disasters and a huge financial crisis, which is getting out of control. Design Your Universe is het vierde studioalbum van de Nederlandse metalband Epica. Het album werd door de platenmaatschappij Nuclear Blast op 16 oktober 2009 uitgebracht. Epica presenteerde het album op 10 oktober met een show in Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Op het album staan drie nummers in de serie "A New Age Dawns", die begon op Epica's tweede album, Consign to Oblivion uit 2005.
Op 17 juli 2019 werd bekendgemaakt dat er een gouden editie van het album op 4 oktober 2019 uit zal komen.
