As the 100th edition of Now That’s What I Call Music! draws ever closer, the tracklisting of the next massive 2CD instalment has been revealed. Now 98 is released on November 17 and features three Number 1 hits (as of writing). Post Malone's Rockstar, Dua Lipa's New Rules, Sam Smith's Too Good at Goodbyes all make the cut, while there are Top 3 hits on the collection from the likes of P!nk, Marshmello and Ed Sheeran. Twenty Top 10 singles feature on the 46-track long compilation, with CNCO & Little Mix's Reggaeton Lento, Zayn & Sia's Dusk Till Dawn and Justin Bieber + BloodPop's Friends included. Veteran chart stars Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Maroon 5 are also part of the line-up.

Neil Young has once again teamed up with his backing band the Promise of the Real (which features Willie Nelson’s son Lukas). Their new album is called The Visitor, and it’s out December 1 via Reprise. It features a new song called “Already Great.” Neil and Promise of the Real worked together on the 2016 album EARTH and the political 2015 album The Monsanto Years. Earlier this year, Young and Promise of the Real also released a one-off single called “Children of Destiny.” The song preached an anti-Trump message: “Stand up for what you believe/Resist the powers that be.”

Legendary rocker Neil Young has shared details of an upcoming new album EARTH which will be released by Reprise Records on June 17. The album features a collection of live recordings of songs from throughout Young’s career, taped during last year’s Rebel Content Tour with Promise Of The Real.

In 2005 Mad Dogs and Englishmen turned 35 years old and as a birthday celebration, Rhino in cooperation with A&M released the limited edition Joe Cocker Mad Dogs and Englishmen - The Complete Fillmore East Concerts, documenting the entire four shows performed on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 1970 at at the Fillmore East. This is as close to perfection as a re-release can get.

Metal group Almanac – spearheaded by guitarist Victor Smolski, formerly of Bochum, Germany-based metal group Rage – issued second full-length studio album Kingslayer on November 24th, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records. A CD / DVD Digibook version of the album features a bonus disc which includes live footage filmed during the band’s performance at the Masters Of Rock festival in Vizovice, Czech Republic on July 15th, 2017.
