Holy Water is the ninth studio album by the English hard rock band Bad Company, and their third with Brian Howe as lead vocalist. The album was released on June 12, 1990. It went platinum, selling over 1,000,000 units, and climbed to #35 on The Billboard Top Pop Albums Chart. The first single "Holy Water", was a #1 Billboard Album Rock Track for two weeks during the Summer of '90 as the band toured the U.S. with Damn Yankees. The single "If You Needed Somebody" became a major hit in early 1991, reaching # 16 on Billboards Hot 100 chart and #2 (for two weeks) on the Album Rock chart. "Boys Cry Tough"(#3), "Stranger, Stranger"(#9) and "Walk Through Fire"(#28 Hot 100 chart / #14 Album Rock chart) also received substantial airplay.

Straight Shooter is the second studio album by British supergroup Bad Company. The album was released in April 1975, a month after the release of the single "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" and four months before the album's second single "Feel Like Makin' Love". The album reached number 3 in the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. It was certified gold (500,000 units sold) by the Recording Industry Association of America a month after its release.

The thing I love about this colection is it's blend of pure '70s rock with the new-age sound of the 80's. No other band, I suppose, could pull it off. Putting "Rockin' All Over The World", a rock classic, on the same CD as "Magic" (probobly the most '80s Quo song ever) may seem like a bad idea to most people, but it's on here, and it works. There's some great riffs on here, as well. Those who have heard "Backwater" and "Roll Over Lay Down" will know what I mean. Those who havn't heard them, havn't lived.
