In 1974, Jethro Tull announced plans for WarChild, a multi-faceted project that was to encompass a feature-length film, a soundtrack album, as well a new album from the band. In October of that year, Tull released a 10-song album that would climb to #2 in the U.S. and the top 15 in the U.K., but the film and accompanying soundtrack were shelved. To commemorate the 40-year anniversary of this ambitious experiment, Parlophone will revisit WarChild with several releases.

Mr. Bad Guy is the first solo album from Queen singer Freddie Mercury. Released in 1985, during a period in which Queen were on hiatus from recordings, it contains eleven songs, all written by him. It was dedicated "to my cat Jerry-also Tom, Oscar and Tiffany, and all the cat lovers across the universe-screw everybody else".

This Is What the Truth Feels Like is the third studio album by American singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani. It was released on March 18, 2016, by Interscope Records. Initially, the album was scheduled to be released in December 2014 with Benny Blanco being the executive producer and the songs "Baby Don't Lie" and "Spark the Fire" being released as singles. However, after the underperformance of both songs on the charts and the writer's block Stefani suffered, she scrapped the whole record in favor of starting again.

The album generated three Top 10 singles, the chart-topping rocker "Heartache Tonight", the album's title cut, and the ballad "I Can't Tell You Why". Those singles reached #1, #8 and #8 respectively. The band also won a Grammy Award for "Heartache Tonight". Also featured on the record was "In the City", a song first recorded by their guitarist Joe Walsh for the movie soundtrack for The Warriors.

The Best of Judas Priest is a collection of a few select songs from Judas Priest's first two albums, and was released under Gull, the band's former record label. It was the first of many reissues of the band's earlier material produced in an effort to "capitalize on Judas Priest's popularity" and was released without any consent from the band.

Behind the Sun is the ninth album by English guitarist Eric Clapton, released in 1985. The title of the album comes from a line from Muddy Waters's "Louisiana Blues". It is also Clapton's first collaborative project with Phil Collins.

The Heart Is a Monster is the fourth studio album by the alternative rock band, Failure. It is the follow up to 1996's Fantastic Planet. The album was released on June 30, 2015, via INgrooves Music Group’s artist services division, INresidence.

All Possible Futures kicks off with ‘American Dream’, a sugary, uplifting dream-like track that provides the perfect introduction into the album. Pastel-coloured deck chairs, cosy romantic evening sunsets, cheesy fruit-inspired cocktails and tanned, leggy bikini-clad-American-Apparel-wearing models seep into mind and suddenly we’re transported back to the 70s. ‘All It Ever Was’ is definitely one of my personal favourites, it creates images of a blissful, untroubled paradise, and not unlike the other 14 tracks, and it’s layered with luxurious, spacious synths that create a modern day take on retro disco jams.

Out of the Blue is the seventh studio album by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in October 1977. Written and produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, the double album is among the most commercially successful records in the group's history.
