Wow, what an album. This album kept me in its power throughout the entire running time. Winter of Sin has recorded a fucking piece of art entitled ‘Violence Reigns Supreme’. The black/death metal is performed with great precision and is mixed perfectly. I love the combinations of melodic riffs together with the ferocious blast beats played by Michiel. Henri’s voice really fits with the music and gives it the depths it needs. So yeah, this masterpiece is a great way to show the quality that comes from Dutch soil.
