Во время буйного роста дэт-метала во всём мире, особенно в США, Нидерландах, Швеции и Канаде, консервативная и в музыкальном плане Великобритания (не особо котировавшая чуть ранее ни трэш, ни чуть позже блэк) пребывала в анабиозе, всё-таки породив собственных героев (про Napalm Death и многочисленное семейство говорить не будем, это несколько иное) в лице Bolt Thrower и Benediction. Команда Cancer ничем особенно не выделялась, разве что разогревом у Deicide и участием в драках с почему-то невзлюбившими Бентона христианами. Второй альбом может похвастаться разве что участием легендарного ныне гитариста-многостаночника Джеймса Мёрфи да бэк-вокалом «боевого друга» Глена.

В 1998 году выходит заключительный сборник серии Jubileum и носит название Jubileum III. На сборник вошли лучшие композиции с последних трёх альбомов и шесть ранее нереализованных композиций.Существование группы прекратилось в июне 2004 года, когда Quorthon был найден мёртвым в собственной квартире. Причиной смерти 38-летнего музыканта стала сердечная недостаточность.

CD был записан на студии Little Creek в Швейцарии, его продюсером стал В.О. Пулвер (V.O. Pulver, POLTERGEIST, DESTRUCTION, GURD). Приглашенные музыканты на альбоме: Шон Пэк (Sean Peck, CAGE), Майк Сифингер (Mike Sifringer, DESTRUCTION), Майк Стил (Mike Steel, STEELCLAD), Ороми (Oromi) и Дамир Эскик (Damir Eskic, GONOREAS).

Иначе говоря, своеобразие музыки голландцев заключается в присутствии сложной симфонической составляющей, гармонично соединённой с ритмом, создаваемым традиционным для блэк-металла способом. Представьте себе Apocalyptica образца 2007 г., которой вдруг вздумалось сыграть вместе с Dimmu Borgir образца 2001 г., тогда вы получите некоторое представление о музыке Carach Angren образца 2010 г. Представление, разумеется, неполное, так как голландцы явно воодушевлялись поэтической и музыкальной эстетикой 17-19 века, что, несомненно, сильно повлияло на их музыку и лирику.

Второй альбом EA – это по-прежнему очень хорошая музыка, но в отличие от “Ea Taesse” в ней нет ровным счетом ничего неземного, ничего древнего и таинственного. Это просто добротный, по-своему красивый и стильный funeral doom, очень сильно (ну, просто очень сильно) напоминающий о SKEPTICISM (и о COMATOSE VIGIL, кстати, тоже). А вот былой атмосферы, былого духа, былой тайны в нем нет. Став плотнее и ощутимо тяжелее, словно бы сгустившись в некое плотное ядро, звук EA стал в гораздо большей степени соответствовать стандартам жанра,

Просто отличный альбом.Пожалуй лучший альбом этой группы, хотя и предыдущие плохими не назовешь. Такого угара от прослушивания викинг дэт метала я давно не испытывал. Вокал группы на этом альбоме стал просто великолепным, а музыка у Эйнхерджера всегда на высоте была, но тут она просто потрясает своим разнообразием, немного портят впечатление две последние коипозиции альбома, но не из за того что плохие, а как то не укладываются они в тематику альбома, ну а все остальное просто супер, рекомендую всем, весьма не обычный дэт.

Raise Your Fist is the twelfth studio album by the German female heavy metal singer Doro, released on 19 October 2012 and 6 November 2012 in USA through Nuclear Blast Records. The song "Hero" is dedicated to the late Ronnie James Dio. On 5 May 2014, Nuclear Blast issued a special edition of the album to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Doro's first live show, which included a second CD titled Powerful Passionate Favorites containing remixes, covers and a demo.

Protest Songs is the fourth album by English pop band Prefab Sprout (though the third recorded). It was recorded in 1985, but was not released until 1989; it's not clear whether, at the time of recording, the band had intended it as the main follow-up to their breakthrough album Steve McQueen, released earlier in 1985. The back cover of Protest Songs positions the album as a stage in their musical evolution, offering a middle ground between the sound and songwriting of Steve McQueen and that of From Langley Park to Memphis. Missundaztood (styled as M!ssundaztood) is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Pink. The album was released worldwide in late 2001 to global commercial and critical success, critics welcoming the new pop-rock sound Pink presented on the record, after an urban-influenced debut.

Wish You Were Here is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd. It was released on 12 September 1975 in the United Kingdom by Harvest Records and a day later in the United States by Columbia Records, their first American release for the label.
Based on material Pink Floyd composed while performing in Europe, Wish You Were Here was recorded over numerous sessions at Abbey Road Studios in London. Two songs criticise the music business, another expresses alienation and the multi-part composition "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is a tribute to Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett, who left seven years earlier due to his troubled mental health. As with their album The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Floyd used studio effects, synthesizers and brought in guest singers, Roy Harper, who provided the lead vocals on "Have a Cigar" and Venetta Fields, who added backing vocals to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond".
