Heaven on Earth is the second solo studio album by American singer Belinda Carlisle. It was released on October 5, 1987, by MCA Records. Three singles reached the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100, including the number-one single and Carlisle's signature song "Heaven Is a Place on Earth". The album has been certified triple Platinum in the United Kingdom and Platinum in many countries, including the United States.

Initially, it only reached No. 62 in the UK and No. 46 in the US upon its release. However, a 1985 re-issue proved to be a big hit, peaking at no. 6 in the UK. The song received wide critical acclaim and in 2009 was named the 79th best hard rock song of all time by VH1 based on a public vote.

"L.A. Woman" is a song by the American rock band the Doors. The song is the title track of their 1971 album L.A. Woman, the final album to feature Jim Morrison before his death on July 3, 1971. In 2014, LA Weekly named it the all-time best song written about the city of Los Angeles.

David Gilmour is the debut solo studio album by Pink Floyd guitarist and co-lead vocalist David Gilmour, released on 26 May 1978. The album reached number 17 in the UK and number 29 on the Billboard US album charts; it was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. The album was produced by Gilmour, and consists mostly of blues and guitar-oriented rock songs, except for the piano-dominated ballad "So Far Away".

Sehnsucht (UK: Desire) is the fifth studio album by the electronic project Schiller undertaken by German musician, composer and producer Christopher Von Deylen. The album was released on 22 February 2008. The album features collaboration with several established artists like Xavier Naidoo, Jaël, Kim Sanders, and Klaus Schulze among others.
The album was launched in four versions: a limited three-disc Super Deluxe Edition, a two-disc Deluxe Edition, a Standard Edition and a Double Vinyl Edition. The Super Deluxe edition contains 31 compositions from Christopher Von Deylen, mostly new. The DVD includes music videos, concert footage and a documentary. The two-disc Deluxe Edition contains selected songs from the Super Deluxe Edition and the DVD.

Oxymore is the twenty-second studio album by French musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre. It was released on 21 October 2022 through Sony and Columbia. Originally, Jarre was planning a collaboration with the French composer Pierre Henry, one of Jarre's influences, but Henry died in 2017 and the collaboration was never completed. Henry had however recorded some sound bites for the collaboration, which Jarre used for the album. Jarre then added his own compositions on top.

Музыка не сливается в кашу, как, например, от прослушивания "тру" блэковых команд. На альбоме также присутствуют элементы дэта, что не может меня не радовать. И опять же, такая музыка отличается от тех же бегемотов, которые в последнее время играют почти стопроцентный дэт (ну если не принимать во внимание лирику, разумеется). На этом альбоме присутствует мелодика, которая отлично вливается в музыку, не делая ее попсовой. Злющий вокал, который, как нельзя кстати, подходит музыке, просто приятно слушать. В общем, во всех смыслах сильный альбом, советую всем любителям хорошего блэка. Почитатели тру тоже, надеюсь, останутся довольны, хоть это маленько и не в их стиле. В общем, так держать!

Вторая часть "Элементов" получилась на редкость удачной. Здесь все минусы прошлого неудачного студийника были учтены и, собственно, исправлены. Что сразу замечаешь так это утяжелившийся звук. Никакой воздушности или парящей лёгкости нет и в помине. Наоборот всё подаётся очень напористо и по-стратовски возвышенно. Вокал Тимо Котипелто, к сожалению, полностью не восстановился, но уже более уверенно и гладко звучит. В конечном счете он перестал петь всё время на высоких ладах, старясь исполнять всё достаточно разнообразно. Гитарные риффы не слишком оригинальны, а соло зарисовки частенько тянутся из прошлого, наводя воспоминания о предыдущих альбомах.
