Lester Willis Young - nicknamed "Pres" or "Prez", was an American jazz tenor saxophonist and occasional clarinetist.
Coming to prominence while a member of Count Basie's orchestra, Young was one of the most influential players on his instrument. In contrast to many of his hard-driving peers, Young played with a relaxed, cool tone and used sophisticated harmonies, using what one critic called "a free-floating style, wheeling and diving like a gull, banking with low, funky riffs that pleased dancers and listeners alike".
Known for his hip, introverted style, he invented or popularized much of the hipster jargon which came to be associated with the music.

Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington - was an American composer, pianist, and leader of a jazz orchestra from 1923 through the rest of his life.
Some of the jazz musicians who were members of Ellington's orchestra, such as saxophonist Johnny Hodges, are considered among the best players in the idiom. Ellington melded them into the best-regarded orchestral unit in the history of jazz. Some members stayed with the orchestra for several decades. A master at writing miniatures for the three-minute 78 rpm recording format, Ellington wrote or collaborated on more than one thousand compositions; his extensive body of work is the largest recorded personal jazz legacy, and many of his pieces have become standards. He also recorded songs written by his bandsmen, such as Juan Tizol's "Caravan", which brought a Spanish tinge to big band jazz. At the end of the 1930s, Ellington began a nearly thirty-year collaboration with composer-arranger-pianist Billy Strayhorn, whom he called his writing and arranging companion.[2] With Strayhorn, he composed multiple extended compositions, or suites, as well as many short pieces.

City Of Lights is an exciting new melodic hard rock collaboration between British newcomer songwriter/guitarist Neil Austin and Greek vocal sensation Manos Fatsis (Odyssey Desperado/Hideaway). They deliver hard-edged melodic anthems driven by crunching riffs and lush keyboard textures combined with soaring, passion-filled vocal melodies.
The project was born when Austin - armed with a collection of songs inspired by the classic hard rock sounds of the 80s and the new wave of current AOR bands - began the search for a vocalist who possessed the tone, range and emotion to take the songs to the next level. After hearing Fatsis' work on Odyssey Desperado's "Don't Miss The Sunset" and Hideaway's self-titled debut, he knew he had found the right man. The two connected via Facebook and together they began working on honing the songs to perfection. When the time came to find a rhythm section, Austin reached out to members of his favourite band, brothers Robin (bass) and Mats (drums) Eriksson from modern melodic rock monsters degreed and after hearing the demos, both agreed to contribute to the album.

Head Above Water is the sixth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. It was released on February 15, 2019, through BMG Rights Management. Crash! Boom! Bang! is the fifth studio album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 9 April 1994 by EMI. The album was an immediate commercial success, peaking within the top 10 in over 20 national charts throughout Europe, Australasia and South America. The full-length album was not originally released in the United States, where a shortened version titled Favorites from Crash! Boom! Bang! was sold for a limited time through McDonald's outlets; this version sold over a million copies in the US but was deemed ineligible to chart on the Billboard 200 as, until 2007, Billboard had a policy of excluding albums sold by an exclusive retailer.

Являясь на самом деле весьма благопристойными студентами довольно престижного учебного заведения, эти смельчаки отважились наяривать простенький трэшняк с лирикой, переполненной всякой нецензурщиной, абсурдистскими глупостями и антиполиткорректным стёбом. Второй по счету альбом Gwar – это настоящий клад для любителей похабщины подобного рода. Да и музыка под стать – тупенький хэви/трэш с грубым хриплым вокалом.

Arguably Nihil‘s strongest contender for the highlight of Venenum, As Above So Below is easily one of the best tracks BAEST have put to tape in their career thus far. Svend Karlsson and Svend Karlsson trade crushing riffs and wonderful lead flourishes back and forth throughout, creating some of the record’s biggest hooks, while vocalist Simon Olsen gives a truly incredible performance.

В "Порванных Артериях" группа выдала интересный и разнообразный материал, который способен удивить своих фанатов. Тут есть и драйвово ритмичные номера (Dance of Ixtab), в Eleanor Rigor Mortis мы слышим залихватское моторхэдовское вступление с озорными забойными гитарами. Периодически мы встречаем блюзовые соло, где-то соло отсылают к ближневосточным мотивам.

Кому-то сия затея может показаться бессмысленной, ибо у нас всегда есть оригиналы, которые, в любом случае, всегда будут популярнее и органичнее в плане восприятия и популярности. Но, наверное, именно поэтому эти альбомы не входят в дискографию группы, а являются лишь официальными бутлегами.
