Сразу назову любимые вещи: убойная открывашка с запоминающимся припевом “Possessed By Fire”, следующая “Destructive Solutions” с медляковой акустической вставкой посередке и сольником (не иначе “Fade To Black” обслушались), “Fallen Saint” – просто хорошая вещь, “Xiron Darkstar” – ломовой трек с классными риффами и припевом, и, конечно же, “Silent Death” – монументальный закрывающий эпик! Остальные песенки, тоже на довольно высоком уровне. Пожалуй лишь “A Mortal In Black” назову самой слабой (припев не очень). Как бы то ни было, Exumer со своим “Possessed By Fire” уже вошли в историю, стали классикой и культом, имеют свою немногочисленную, но преданную фэн-базу (die hard!), и их приятно послушать раз в пол-года!

Припанкованный, простой, грубоватый, драйвовый и классический – это все о нем одном, лучшем альбоме шведского «олдскула» - «Clandestine» от Entombed. Шведы словно доказывают: для того, чтобы сделать темп лихим, вовсе не нужно допинговать его бластбитами. Чтобы сделать звук впечатляющим, не нужно до предела коверкать инструменты примочками. Дэт-метал у Entombed – архаичный, со словно изъеденным ржавчиной гитарным саундом, гулкими тяжеленными вздохами бас-бочки и невероятно захватывающим течением композиций. От него так и пахнет атмосферой подземелий, каких-то невероятно мрачных лавкрафтианских укрывалищ разной пакости.

Old Bridge, New Jersey is an Official Bootleg by Dream Theater released by Mike Portnoy on his YtseJam Records label. The album contains an entire show from the brief "Escape from the Studio" tour the band did prior to the release of Falling Into Infinity. Recorded Live at Birch Hill Night Club in Old Bridge, NJ on December 14th 1996. This is an official Bootleg, and at first glance, it would seem like just another show. however, it is COMPLETELY different to other live shows. It was one of the shows from '96, and this was the writing period for Falling Into Infinity.

Что самое главное, эти самые партии неплохо контрастируют с классической для death metal игрой ритм-гитары и не мешают ей.

"Spiegel" (English: "Mirror") is a 2005 song by German pop-rap girl group Tic Tac Toe. It was released as their comeback single in December 2005, after a five-year hiatus. The song met with commercial success and was a top 10 hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It later appeared on their fourth and final album Comeback.

William Ruhlmann of AllMusic described the compilation as an "excellent sampler", adding: "The sequencing pays no attention to chronology, [but] despite this, Scott's impassioned singing holds things together better than might be expected, and the effect is not unlike a good Waterboys concert." Monk's Dream is an album by jazz pianist Thelonious Monk that was released by Columbia Records in March 1963. It was Monk's first album for Columbia following his five-year recording period with Riverside Records.

"Zero" is a song by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It was the third single from their third album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. "Zero" was written by Billy Corgan and was the first song recorded for Mellon Collie. The song has six rhythm guitars, with two line-in twelve string acoustics. Commercially, "Zero" reached number one in Spain and number three in New Zealand. In North America, the song reached number one on Canada's RPM Alternative 30, number 15 on the US Mainstream Rock chart, and number nine on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. In the United States, the song was released as an EP, so it instead charted on the Billboard 200, making it to number 46.
