Baby I'm-a Want You is the fourth album by Bread, released in 1972. Its singles included the title cut (which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Top 100), "Everything I Own" (No. 5), "Mother Freedom" (No. 37), and "Diary" (No. 15). This was the first Bread album to feature keyboards player Larry Knechtel.

Foreign Affair is the seventh solo album by Tina Turner, released on Capitol Records in 1989. It was Turner's third album release after her hugely successful comeback six years earlier and although the album was not a major success in Turner's native US, it did reach number 1 in the UK Albums Chart, her first number 1 album there. The album includes the single "The Best" which has gone on to become one of Turner's best-known songs.

Smash is the third studio album by American punk rock band The Offspring, released on April 8, 1994 by Epitaph Records. After touring in support of their previous album Ignition (1992), the band recorded their next album over two months at Track Record in North Hollywood, California. Smash was the band's final studio album to be produced by Thom Wilson, who had worked with them since their 1989 eponymous debut.

Permission to Land is the debut studio album released by British hard rock band The Darkness. The album was released in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2003 and in the United States on 5 August 2003. The album topped the UK Albums Chart and reached number thirty-six on the American Billboard 200 chart. Five singles were released from Permission to Land: "Get Your Hands off My Woman", "Growing on Me", "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)" (which only appears on the German Christmas edition), and "Love Is Only a Feeling". "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was the most successful, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Nomad was a house music duo from the United Kingdom, who had several hits on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, as well as successes on the UK Singles Chart. Group members were Damon Rochefort (Nomad is Damon spelled backwards, thus the group's name), Steve McCutcheon and Sharon D. Clarke.

Greatest Hits is a hits compilation released by British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams on 18 October 2004. The album includes two new songs, "Radio" and "Misunderstood", which were both released as singles. The album is his seventh overall release in the United Kingdom.
Greatest Hits was one of the fastest-selling albums upon release in the UK, where it debuted at the number-one spot with first-week sales of over 320,000 copies. Certain versions of the album feature a picture of Williams in a pose exposing his pubic hair on the cover, and in the booklet is the Latin phrase "...si quid habet mammas vel rotas, res habebis difficiles aliquando", translating into "if it has tits or wheels, it makes life difficult." A special edition box set, containing all of Williams' singles, was released on the same day.

Anamorphosée is the fourth studio album by Mylène Farmer, released on 17 October 1995. Led by the number-one single "XXL", the album was something of a departure from her previous work. Although it received mixed reviews from critics, the album was very successful, peaking at no.1 and staying on the French album chart for almost two years.

West Side Story is the soundtrack album to the 1961 film West Side Story, featuring music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Released in 1961, the soundtrack spent 54 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's stereo albums charts, giving it the longest run at No. 1 of any album in history, although some lists instead credit Michael Jackson's Thriller, on the grounds that this run for West Side Story was on a chart for stereo albums only at a time when many albums were recorded in mono. It did also spend 6 weeks at the top of the Billboard chart for mono albums. In 1962, it won a Grammy award for "Best Sound Track Album – Original Cast". In the United States, it was one of the best-selling albums of the 1960s, certifying three times platinum by the RIAA on November 21, 1986.
