The Dreams We Have as Children – Live at the Royal Albert Hall is a charity live album by singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher in support of Teenage Cancer Trust. Gallagher recorded the album at a charity concert at the London Royal Albert Hall on 27 March 2007.
Gallagher, best known as guitarist, main songwriter and occasional vocalist of English Britpop band Oasis played a set composing of primarily Oasis songs and was joined by fellow Oasis musician Gem Archer on guitar for the performance. The album's title stems from a lyric in the Oasis song "Fade Away", and Gallagher-penned Oasis songs make up the bulk of the songs recorded on the album. Past collaborator and friend of Gallagher Paul Weller (formerly of The Jam/Style Council) joined Gallagher on stage for two songs during the performance, too.

Cal is a soundtrack album by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on 24 August 1984 by Vertigo Records. The album contains music composed for the 1984 film Cal, produced by David Puttnam and directed by Pat O'Connor. Puttnam also produced the film Local Hero (1983). In a contemporary review in The New York Times, Janet Maslin called the album "an exceptionally lovely and haunting score."

Songs of Surrender is an album of re-recorded songs by Irish rock band U2. Produced by guitarist the Edge, it was released on 17 March 2023 on Island Records and Interscope Records. Largely the effort of the Edge and lead vocalist Bono, the album comprises re-recorded and reinterpreted versions of 40 songs from the group's back catalogue, many in stripped-down and acoustic arrangements. The album is a companion to Bono's memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story (2022), which was structured into 40 chapters titled after U2 songs. Rearranged versions of the songs were first included in the audiobook edition of the memoir, and were performed by Bono during the book's promotional tour.

This is the fourth release in the last two years or so from The Apaches, an album that sees them maintain an “album a year” pace - since their 2016 debut. This is without a doubt their best yet - if you take surf, spaghetti western and Euro instrumentals, this would have elements of all three, but veer closer towards the spaghetti/Euro sounds. The songs are well-written, melodic and catchy, the members are all masters of their instruments, and the production is spot on. Undoubtedly one of the top releases of 2020!
